About 2 weeks ago, my bf took me to the Scirocco Cup & Japan GT in Sepang International Circuit. Actually, no wait! Haha! To be correct, Eric took me to the Scirocco Cup & Japan GT. Haha! Cause he had the extra ticket. Not my bf. :P My bf was kinda there for work because he works on the VW account. Eric, on the other hand, managed to get the tickets because he recently just bought a Scirocco! Hehe.. :P

Quite exciting I have to say. Have never been to the Sepang International circuit before and have only seen those races on TV. So yea, something different. Overall? It was just loud and you probably see the cars drive past you for like 2 secs each lap. LOL!

Anyway, day started out be meeting up my house and we headed out to Sepang in 2 cars because Eric had to go somewhere after that. So we headed out - 45 mins drive to Sepang. As we were reaching, there were actually billboards to promote the Japan GT. I never knew that it was such a big thing. Haha! but you're talking to a car dummy here so can't say much :P

Anyway, after about another 10 minutes! We finally arrived!

I met up with Eric to pick up our tickets while my bf went off to park elsewhere because he wanted to get to another carpark which was nearer to the grand stands. He didn't know whether we would be allowed to get into the grand stand because he didn't know what tickets were going to be given out. Anyways, so after picking up the tickets, we just walked aimless inside and finally reached the circuit and actually managed to catch the start of the Scirocco Cup. Not knowing where to go, we stupidly went and sat in the heat at first! It was freakin' hot that day as well. We were so tempted to leave right after the Scirocco cup which was what we went to see. :P

Photo of the start of the cup. =) You see all the glassed up area? That's where the grand stand is. Sheltered and air-conditioned. :S Underneath the glass area, is the pit stop area.

After the race, I msged my bf to say what kind of tickets we had and only then, did we realise that we were allowed to go to the grand stand and the experience was much better! Haha! It was sooooo much cooler, they gave us freebies, and also there was food! I was starving because I haven't had lunch yet and if not mistaken, I went for a run that morning as well!

Anyways, after we managed to lug our half burst asses over to the grand stand, they actually opened up the pit for people to go see the cars (and girls). I would have loved to go but I was too busy cooling down from the heat and also wouldn't have wanted to fight with everyone down there.

Check out all the people! Photo from above the grand stand and rght opposite where Eric and me were sitting initially.

Can you spot the guy with the "Pit Walkabout" banner?

Eric & Me enjoying the grand stand. =)

Anyways, after that, we kinda went to check out the "garage" - the area where they kept all the cars when have finished their race. Don't think we were allowed to go there but knowing the "security" in Malaysia, nobody even stopped to ask who we were.

A banged up Scirocco...

The apparently really dressed down GT "queen". Haha! :P

Eric managed to get his photo with the girls. Hehe.. Pretty or not?! Bf says the girl next to Eric is FHM's girl next door. *woot*

Anyways, we headed back to the grand stand just before the start of the Japan GT race. People were actually allowed on the circuit to check out the cars before they started.

So many people!!

Managed to get a shot of 2 out of the 3 (?) GT queens running back for shelter when the race was about to start

We didn't stay till the end. After a coupla laps, we left. Wasn't going to sit and watch the cars finish like 54 laps! :S So we started to walk back to the car which was quite far away. BUT! we managed to hitch a ride! Check out our ride! :P

And we all managed to fit! LOL! Thank you to our smiley and friendly driver!

All of us, hanging for our lives. The photo of Eric & Michelle was like take 4. LOL! I couldn't get the right angle to take their photo. Bf had to do it in the end.

Last adventure before we headed home? Bf's car couldn't start! So had to jump start the car. :S

P/s: More photos on my Facebook. Those interested, can go and see. =)

My company actually gave us a Thomas Sabo bracelet last year as a token of our efforts for the year. For those who do not know what Thomas Sabo is, it's a brand that originated from Germany and sells sterling silver accessories from bracelets, to necklaces, to watches, to handphone danglies, to charms. The one which I think they are more known for are their charms because they are quite cute and quirky. When they first arrived, I never knew what the fuss was all about but somehow I have succumbed to the brand and have the sudden need to fill up my bracelet with charms :P. Somehow, it actually gets quite addictive. The dude who came up with this idea was seriously a genius.

It all started when Chris' friends bought me those 2 extra charms to put on my bracelet for my birthday. I got excited and decided to get 2 more as a birthday present to myself to celebrate my coming of age of becoming a quarter century old. So, the extra 2 I got was the letter 'Y' to accompany my 'L' take came with the bracelet when my company gave it to us. And also a green 4 leaf clover for luck! So now, I have a total for 5 charms of my bracelet and I actually think my bracelet is getting quite nice! Hehe.. but they're not cheap. Each charm ranges from RM100 to about RM400 :( So the next one I can probably get is only during Christmas or something - no more splurging. For those who don't know what to get me next time *hint hint* *nudge nudge* LOL! Hehe..

Anyways, photos below for viewing pleasure.

Photo of the 2 extra charms I bought for myself.

Bumblebee is home! Wheeeee... For those who don't know, he got sent to the workshop like about 2 weeks ago because we met into and accident. Nothing major, so nobody panic! The story goes like this. My mum was driving me to work 1 morning and as we were reaching my office in Pusat Bandar Damansara, there was a slight jam (as usual). My mum's phone suddenly rang and she was kinda bending down to get her phone out of her bag which was at the bottom of the driver's seat. Both of us put our bags there now because we were told not to put it on the passenger seat because people might come and break your glass while driving if they see something there. Anyhow, so my mum was kinda struggling to get her phone and instead of pressing the brake when the car stopped in front of her, she accelerated! We hit a Volvo in front of us and the Volvo hit a truck in front of him.

Haha! Want to know what's funny? Let me show you what happened to bumblebee first and you can guess the extent the other dude's car got damaged.

Looks quite 'seong' rite? the whole front part kinda dented inside. The Volvo was nowhere near this 'seong' though! He had like a few scratches at the back and his worse part was we broke his brake lights! His front was quite bad though but that's only cause he banged into a lorry in front of him! If not, nothing would have been wrong! Haha! Volvo rocks! LOL! :P

Anyways, so we brought the cars to the side. Mum knew she was at fault and kept apologising but the guy was being and ass. Kept saying he needed the car to work etc. blah blah la. Kept insisting that we pay for it la. He didn't look like he was going to work. Freakin wearing khakis and an old t-shirt. Looked like he was freakin 70. We're not going to run away K! Piece of shit! He just wanted to bully us. You know what he said when my mum asked for his name? He went "my name is blah blah (lol! cause i can't remember it now), don't worry about the tan sri or datuk in front. It's okay". WTF!! What was that comment suppose to mean?! You think we're scared cause you're a tan sri or datuk? Go suck cock la you! Haha! Sorry! Just remembering that moment is really pissing me off. Then he KEPT insisting that we go to the Volvo workshop because he wanted to get his damaged assessed straightaway but mum insisted on going to police station to make the report. Woah! When we got there, SUDDENLY he SOOOO damn polite to the police officers. WTF! If you're a tan sri or datuk, you'd be talking in the same tone you have been using while talking to them! Grrr...

*phew* Goooooosseeeeeefrraaaabbbaaaa... hahaha.. shit! really got me riled up again! Haha! Anyhow, the point is bumblebee is back!!! :D looking all brand-spanking new! :D

Also, if you would like this know, this is bee's 2nd major damage. The first time was my fault. He was only about 1 week old then! That time REALLY sam tong. :( You can read about it here.

P/s: Just realised something. Do you guys get another ad pop up when you come and visit my site? Please let me know! Because I'm getting it and I think it's damn annoying and def. do not want my readers to be annoyed too! So let me know so that I can try and see if I can fix it on my end!

Gonna keep this short and sweet because I actually have to try and finish up some work. So anyways, bf managed to score us some tickets to Knight and Day (review to come in different blog) in  e@thecurve. So after work, we headed over. Once we got to the parking lot, P1 was kinda full so he decided to go down to P2 instead. It was kinda empty - so yay! Can park anywhere he wanted (which was close to the entrance). So, he found a park he like and slot himself in. When we got down, he was looking back at the car funny and I was wondering what the hell he was looking at. I turned around and realised he parked at a NON parking lot! LOL! It was actually a LANE to get through the parking area. There was an ARROW underneath his car saying that users can either turn left or right. ROFL! Hahahaha!

The end.

A few weeks ago, while sitting in my bf's dining room and flipping through newspapers, I suddenly had a brilliant idea of going to Batu Caves. I thought since I've never been there before in my entire life and me and my bf are on a journey to lose weight, it'd be a good change to do something different! Plus, then at least I can tell my overseas friends that I've been there and I'm a true Malaysian. Or at least tell them what to expect when they ask me about it la... Haha! :P

So anyways, sent out a bunch of msges and managed to get a small group together to go. Got together earlier to get ourselves some McD breakfast and we were off! And since pictures says more than a thousand words, here are some for you guys below! :D

P/s: I'm just lazy to write.. :P

Sorry! Been MIA on my blog again. No internet at home really does not help. PLUS it's world cup! Haha! But honestly, haven't really been watching much. Kinda stuck in the middle because I'm neither happy in my house or bf's house. Cause when I'm home, I have a TV to watch in the room but because my internet isn't work, it's kinda not fun cause I'm an internet junkie. Whereas in my bf's place, got internet, but no TV to watch IN the room. So yea...

Anyways, teams I'm supporting this year? Japan, Argentina and Germany. However, after Germany's last match against Serbia, I'm really not sure nemore. :S Anyways, reasons as to why I chose those 3 teams? Japan because of my Asian pride. Argentina because I thought they played a really good game against South Korea, and Germany, because they trashed Australia and I couldn't be happier!

Don't get me wrong. I love the country. But when it comes to sports, they one freakin' sore loser country. The last game with Germany? Do you know what they are saying as to why the lost? They are blaming the freakin' balls! WTF! Everyone didn't get the a chance to practice as much as they would like. So, suck it up and admit defeat like men! Grrr! So angry! Crap, there was an article on smh.com.au which my brother manage to find but I can't find it now. They were whining about the Jabulani balls. Will try and get it from my brother and post it up on my next blog.

Till next blog. Laters and Happy World Cupping! =)

Thusday, 10 June 2010

Hey guys! Sorry for being MIA yesterday. Internet at home is not working still and didn't manage to get to bf's place in time to update the next set of contestants. As we speak, I'm updating from the office! Anyhow, will update this weekend! So don't forget to come back to check them out!

For today, gonna make it short and sweet because I want to go home for dinner. I'm having butter crabs btw! :S My favourite of all time! :( I don't care. I'm going to have 1 piece! My boss also just made me realise something. I'm not going to be able to have snacks and watch World Cup at the same time! WTF! Aiyooo.. seriously wrong time to start the challenge. :P

Okay okay! Back to my update.

Adrian and Boon have both started a journal on our Facebook Page. You can check/follow them by clicking on their names if you would like to see their progress. Apparently Mark has been eating junk food (ie. KFC and curry mee with extra char-siew etc) non-stop and have not done anything different. Haha! Wonder what's his strategy? :P

Till next post. Laters! =)
