<br />
Another 4 months has passed since my last update. To be honest, I don't even remember updating in March. But once again, am going to try and update my blog as much as I can.<br />
<br />
So why all of a sudden? I guess it was cause I was looking through all photos on FB the other day and it really made me remember/reminisce about all the stuff I did. My holidays/trips, my dog which my family adopted and how she was stick skinny before and we could actually see her waist. Now? She just looks like a log - no waist :P. All the random photos that got posted up and people actually contributing to the funny comments. I actually spent an hour going through the photos.<br />
<br />
So what has happened since my last post? Got myself a job and quit quite soon after cause I wasn't really coping well there. Went back to KL for a little bit to visit husband/family and friends especially since husband was not around. Will be heading back again mid September.<br />
<br />
But I guess the most recent thing that happened and is worth blogging about today is that I FINALLY got my full license in Australia. I don't even remember how long I've been holding my P's for! Had to a computer test to get from my Green P's to full license which includes multiple choice questions and a simulation which I failed the first time btw! Oh! and apparently I got a 50% discount cause I have had no traffic offences in the last 5 years! Haha, what they don't know is, I pretty much haven't been in the country for 4 out of that 5 years. Oh well - am not complaining since I had to re-new my P's once before this already. Haha! Spent so much with the RTA over the years. Let's see if I can remember:<br />
<br />
- 1 x Knowledge test - to get my L's<br />
- 1 x Renewal of my L license because I didn't pass my driving test in time<br />
- 4 x Driving test - to get to my red P's<br />
- 1 x Driving test / computer test (can't remember which is it to get to my green P's) - to get green P's<br />
- 1 x Renewal of my green P's cause it was expiring and I hadn't taken the test cause I was out of the country<br />
- 2 x Computer test - to get to my full license.<br />
<br />
I think that's about it.<br />
<br />

<br />
Wow - my first post in 1 year! Haha! So much for trying to blog more huh? Well, updates?<br />
<br />
1. I got married<br />
2. I started a new business - BluMagoo (https://www.facebook.com/blumagooo). It's a online blog shop selling ladies clothes and fashion with the aim of bringing international style such as Zara/ASOS/H&M and even higher end designer stuff such as Chanel, LV, D&G at local/affordable prices. So ladies, do come and check us out!<br />
3. I moved back to Australia - by myself! Missing my husband like crazy and leaving everything behind has not been easy. :(<br />
<br />
So I guess that's everything in a nutshell - not bad for a first post after 1 year? hahaha.. :P<br />

<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Thought I should blog about this story just so that I can look back and remember all the funny/good memories next time. So here's what happened...</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Last Friday, Chris took me out to Jake's to celebrate my belated birthday. After dinner, we tried to catch a movie but as it was a Friday night, there were no movies available. So we ended shopping instead. All expense paid so far were all in cash - we were running low and knew that we needed to get to the bank. </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
The next morning, we headed to Thean Hou temple to go and book a date for our registration. As the lady was going through our documents, she handed us a slip of paper which confirms our date and time. It also included a RM80 registration fee. Me and Chris looked at each other and stoned for a while. We then opened up our wallets to check how much money we had. Halfway counting, I looked up at the lady and asked, "do you take credit card?" and she just shaked her head slowly and looked at me with a frown on her forehead as though as I was joking. </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
So me and Chris pulled out all our notes - we had RM76 bucks in notes! I then had to scramble for coins and guess what? There was JUST ENOUGH! After paying, I literally had 30 cents left in my wallet!! :P The best part was? When we arrived at Thean Hou temple, there was an option to park by the side of the road, or park like 50m nearer in the parking lot. Chris decided to park in there which costed us RM3! Haha! </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Oh! And there was a tau foo far shop outside the temple as well which we were contemplating on buying to eat! Thank god we didn't! If not, we definitely would not have enough money to pay to register! Haha! Talk about getting my priorities right huh? Enough money to have steak at Jakes and shop but not enough to pay to get registered! Hahaahaha!</div>Li Yen Limhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01194908571365502847noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5762902359085292591.post-18278894351028360582012-03-14T09:00:00.001+08:002012-03-14T09:00:02.238+08:00The ProposalFriday, 16th March 2012<div><br />
</div><div>So, I said I would blog about my proposal. Here it is. Before I start, I need to establish a few short stories. All of which all happened the week before the proposal:</div><div><br />
</div><div><b><u>Story No. 1</u></b></div><div>Chris' dad's car had broken down the week before.</div><div><br />
</div><div><b><u>Story No.2</u></b></div><div>One of Chris' friend had started going out with a chic recently and had asked me where me and Chris used to go when we first started dating. I thought he was fishing for ideas on places to bring the chic. </div><div><br />
</div><div>So, it was the weekend of the proposal. It was also one of Chris' friends wedding on that Saturday weekend. They had some friends coming in from Australia and NZ. So he told me (a coupla days before the wedding) that there was going to be dinner on Sunday to catch with them before they went back. So, I was like okay. He was even discussing with me where to go etc. </div><div><br />
</div><div>So the day after the wedding, after lunch, he then told me that he had to go and take his dad's car in to the workshop and told me that he couldn't teman me. So I was like fine (still not suspecting anything). After lunch, I just went to my sister's place to chill out. The one thing I realised was that he kept calling during the day to see where I was and what I was doing. But somehow, nothing clicked. He told me dinner was at about 7, so all I had to do was get back to his house at about 6.30 and then we'll go to dinner. I arrived slightly later that evening. </div><div><br />
</div><div>But when I got back to his place, he was already quite anxious. The first thing he told me was that we were late which I admittedly thought in my head. He then told me that one of his friends' car broke down at the park! Immediate thought to my head was - omg, did his friend bring his chica to the park? I was smiling with glee because I thought I was gonna be able to catch the 2 in action.. :P So we hurried out. He kept saying saying that we were late and we'll quickly go pick him up and go straight to the restaurant. Before we left the house, I was even smart enough (or at least I thought I was) to ask if he needed jumper cables. But he said no, and said that we'll come back after dinner to get his car. </div><div><br />
</div><div>Before I go on again, think I'll need to explain how the park is structured. It's a park where it kinda has 2 levels. So there was this quite long flight of stairs down where there was a tennis court and also a football field. Anyway, so we park. I got out of the car and asked, where is he? Bf answered, maybe he's down there. Again, i was like ok. So I walked to the top of the stairs. And there I saw, ALL my friends and HIS friends standing below, holding signs. 1 said "Will You Marry Me" and 1 more said 'just do it"! I was in shocked! I remember staring at the signs for the longest time! I guess, just wondering whether this was really happening! When I turned around, I already saw him on 1 knee! And asked me to marry him! </div><div><br />
</div><div>What did i do? I smacked him first! Calling him stupid! Haha! For not telling me to dress nicely! Mind you, I was just wearing a normal t-shirt and a denim skirt and hadn't showered for the day cause I was thinking to myself, I'll just shower after the dinner cause it was not like the place was very fancy. But, I guess, after that, i nodded and everything was done! </div><div><br />
</div><div>So? What happened behind the scenes?</div><div><br />
</div><div>1. He had already asked my parents for my hand in marriage like 4 months before</div><div>2. He did not go and help his dad with the car. He was actually making signs at home with his friend all afternoon.</div><div>3. The friend was obviously not there with his chica and was not asking me those questions for himself. The friend and bf were discussing where was the best place to do the proposal and wanted to see if there was any other places which was special to us which maybe my bf left out. There was none btw. :P </div><div>4. Apparently while bf was on his knees, he had like a whole speech which I did not hear. The only thing I heard was the most important question.</div><div><br />
</div><div>So there it is! My bf proposed to me, on the 15th of January 2012!</div>Li Yen Limhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01194908571365502847noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5762902359085292591.post-83394091268513798552012-03-14T01:18:00.002+08:002012-04-04T12:48:37.191+08:00Update Update!Wednesday, 14 March 2011<br />
<div><br />
</div><div>First and foremost, I just wanna thank everybody who is still reading this even without me prompting on Facebook that I have updated my blog. I know I have once again left this blog hanging but once again, am going to try and update this as often as I can! It's been pretty hectic the last coupla months.</div><div><br />
</div><div>So whats been up? Let's see...</div><div><br />
</div><div>There was Christmas, then it was New Year. Then my little niece gave birth! And I went to Australia again for my friends wedding. At the same time, my other niece was born - yes, I now have 1 nephew and 3 nieces! Last but not least, the most important out of all the events that happened... I GOT ENGAGED!</div><div><br />
</div><div>For those who are reading this, should already know the story so am not going to bother even re-capping. Hmm.. but just thought about it, that's what this blog is for right? If it's not to keep memories, then what? Guess I'll do a separate blog just for it. And will try and do it soon so that the story is still fresh in my head. </div><div><br />
</div><div>Anyway, so now wedding is going to be in August. So quick some people might say? Let me know announce it here to the 2 / 3 people who is reading this - NO, I AM NOT PREGNANT! If I was, you would be able to see it in August! :P But yes, why so quick? Again, another long story! LOL! But to cut short? It's due to my Australian PR, and I might have a chance of going back to Australia by end of the year. So yea.. :( </div><div><br />
</div><div>So since I barely have less than 5 months to plan, I have since, managed to meet with a designer and CONFIRM what kind of dress I want with her. Will go back in 2-3 months for first fitting. Kinda decided on the venue - we just need to confirm the booking by actually paying the first round of deposits. We have bought 1 wedding band - mine! :P And it's very pretty! Will most likely get the fiancee's one tomorrow or the day after. And that's pretty much it? Does that mean i'm screwed guys? Haha!</div><div><br />
</div><div>Anyway, it's getting late. Will update more later! =) </div>Li Yen Limhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01194908571365502847noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5762902359085292591.post-5967612527026639762011-11-28T19:51:00.000+08:002011-11-28T19:51:35.299+08:00Preview Screening for Breaking Dawn...... Part 1!Monday, 28th November 2011<br />
<br />
So I managed to score tickets to Breaking Dawn Part 1 last week. I was actually looking forward to this movie cause the trailer actually looked epic and the sex scene! Hehehe..<br />
<br />
For those who haven't seen the trailer?<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;"><iframe allowfullscreen="" frameborder="0" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/s_yg-dHMkMs" width="560"></iframe></div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: left;">Anyway, the seats were not numbered but we were able to get some pretty decent seats. So, what did i think of the movie? I actually thought it was pretty entertaining. They tried to inject some funny parts in it but what annoyed me the most? They freakin' censored ALL the parts that were probably the most epic/exciting parts in the movie! The sex scene, the part where the baby was born, and the part where Edward bit her to save her life. Oh, which apparently, my colleague said that he didn't bite her, he injected a needle into her. She knew cause she read the book. But what about those people who hadn't read the book? They wouldn't even know how she got transformed in the first place! WTF!</div><div style="text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: left;">I was annoyed beyond words. I even got out of the cinema telling my bf that there's no point to even go to the movies anymore (in Malaysia) if they keep censoring movies like this. First it was Immortals, now this! Wtf man.. Freakin' Malaysian censorship board needs to get a life! You think censoring a few scenes out of a movie will make any difference to our "beloved" race in this country?! </div><div style="text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: left;">*phew* Now all of that is out - back to the funny bits? :P Since I literally had to drag my bf to the movie, he obviously had some comments after the movie as well and he had a pretty good time making fun of the movie I must say. BUT, he does have a point when he says that Jacob always says he's leaving but he ALWAYS ends up coming back! Haha! No wonder Bella doesn't give a shit everytime he says he's leaving. </div><div style="text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: left;">Oh wait, there was 1 thing I didn't quite like about the movie. When the twilight series first started, I was actually team edward cause he was all sweet and that. But from the 2nd ep onwards, I was team Jacob. Haha! Kudos for those who know why.. :P But this last episode.. really made him a freakin' paedophile! Sigh!! </div><div style="text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: left;">Last but not least? I freakin' didn't know that this was part 1 of 2!! *face palm*!!!</div><div style="text-align: left;"><br />

<br />
Trying to keep my tradition alive by having Burger King's in all the airports I have been too. Thus, this entry is to commemorate my memory of the Burger King while I was in Beijing.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgpQfoUhWy2apqlVfvuOzVajmME4IDaeXhsQN41vpbpU9kukcZJgxApOOvihyphenhyphenKhGDeWkIj5V3JNsDbn_zWfYfCLg9S-ZL9GUF73CvelxhxwADFX5GZ_crRnjR01VJ44BMMo3ABbciNq0IJC/s1600/IMG_1020.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgpQfoUhWy2apqlVfvuOzVajmME4IDaeXhsQN41vpbpU9kukcZJgxApOOvihyphenhyphenKhGDeWkIj5V3JNsDbn_zWfYfCLg9S-ZL9GUF73CvelxhxwADFX5GZ_crRnjR01VJ44BMMo3ABbciNq0IJC/s320/IMG_1020.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">In Chinese, it's pronounced as "Ham Pau Wang" - I THINK! Don't laugh at me if in case I get it wrong. :P</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div>Anyways, I didn't get the meal this time because I was in the airport at an ungodly hour - 5am!! And I was actually too sleepy/tired to eat anything. So I just got a Double Cheese Bacon burger. But in the end? I ate my burger even before I boarded the plane. :P Boy - I felt sick! Imagine eating that early in the morning! BUT, I have to say, it was quite satisfying. Not sure if it's because I have been having chinese food for the last 5 days there. :P Anyways, burger had BBQ sauce in it which gave it a slight sweet taste to it yet still being able to taste all the preservatives of the burger patty! Haha!<br />
<br />

<div style="text-align: left;">Burger only costed me RMB23 which is equivalent to RM12.50! Don't remember how much a meal costs though. Forgot to take a picture of the actual burger. Was too stoned and lazy to do it actually.. :P </div><div style="text-align: left;"><br />

<br />
Managed to score 2 tickets to watch Immortals at 1U yesterday (kudos to my friend!). So obviously went with my bf. Actually I had not heard of this movie before until my we saw a billboard which was advertising this movie and my bf said that he wanted to watch it.<br />
<br />
When I was offered these tickets, I quickly accepted them as I knew my bf was interested. Anyways, so we went to collect our tickets, my friend informed me that the film distributor that brought this show in was one that has not had a good track record on my list - not going to name this film distributor due to work reasons :P but let's just say my expectations for this film dropped drastically after that.<br />
<br />
Before I go on, perhaps you guys should take a look at the trailer first below. Btw, I hadn't watched the trailer myself till this blog post.<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;"><iframe allowfullscreen="" frameborder="0" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/7VdONYkKFmQ" width="560"></iframe></div><br />
Hmm.. doesn't look to exciting huh? Well, to my surprise, I actually quite enjoyed the movie. It was definitely full of violence/gory stuff therefore very appealing to all guys. For the ladies? Well, most of the men in there had 6 packs? Enough incentive? Haha! Okok, in all seriousness, without trying to give out too much info and spoiling the movie for everyone - I quite liked the movie. Only problems for me were:<br />
<br />
<ol><li>The lead actor didn't seem very charming enough. Thought he would have been better casted by someone like Brad Pitt or Russell Crow. But he was quite good looking laa. :P</li>
<li>There were too many cut scenes!! Unsure if it was because the movie was too gory or what but it was weird because there were even cuts during the conversation bits which was possibly the most exciting bit as it probably built up the plot. It kinda felt like the movie roll got damaged or maybe even someone was getting some up there in the movie room (you know, the little room up above the cinema where the light comes out from and plays the film) because not only was scenes cut, the whole movie was pushed out of frame!</li>
<li>There were some anomalies I felt during the last scene but I am not going to say anything as that would probably ruin the story for you. However, don't think it was that important but do let me know whether you feel the same when you guys have watched it ya!</li>
</ol>Other than the above? Yea - would recommend you guys to go watch it. However, probably only worth it if the cut scenes were fixed. It really really annoyed me during the movie. So yea..Li Yen Limhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01194908571365502847noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5762902359085292591.post-40961737122445804902011-11-09T00:48:00.001+08:002011-11-09T00:49:13.848+08:00Latest Technology!Wednesday, 8th November 2011<br />

<br />
Was at work today and it was friend's birthday. Started to ask her how she was going on celebrating her b'day and how she should have taken a day off just to rest and relax and not be at work. Friend went on to say that she felt old and for some strange reason, I always thought that she was younger than me. What follows would be best told in a dialougue format to make sure I captured the essence of the conversation right.<br />
<br />
Liyen: Har? Old? How old are you? I think I'm older than you!<br />
Friend: I'm 26. You?<br />
Liyen: Oh, 26 this year? I'm 25 this year. Means you're older than me.<br />
Friend: Oh.. so born in 1986?<br />
Liyen: No.... 1985! Wait! OMFG! does that men i'm 26 too?! OMG!! WTF!<br />
<br />
Hahahaha!Li Yen Limhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01194908571365502847noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5762902359085292591.post-37129812856824710122011-09-12T22:26:00.000+08:002011-09-12T22:26:31.658+08:00Transformers: The Dark Side Of The MoonMonday, 12th September 2011<br />
<br />
I finally went to watch transformers last weekend - late much? :P<br />
<br />
I was like freakin' sitting at the corner of my seat the whole time! It was so kan-cheong that my bf said that I was practically talking to screen while IN the cinema! I used to have a colleague (a guys btw) that said that he would have Optimus Prime's babies and I would think he was mad. But after that movie, I wanted to have his babies! Haha! :P <br />
<br />
What I couldn't believe was that the Sentinel was a baddy! I thought he was going to be the saviour but noooo.. he had to bring the freakin' Cybertron to earth! WTF! Go get your own planet! :P he was such a disgrace to his kind! Disappointed!<br />
<br />
Anyway, was super duper upset when I found out that Michael Bay only signed up for 3 movies and that there weren't gonna be anymore movies after this one. What are we going to do without transformers now?! <br />
<br />
Keeping this short because everyone in the world would have watched it already so no real point in giving a review? :PLi Yen Limhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01194908571365502847noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5762902359085292591.post-32559456601499918682011-08-08T22:51:00.001+08:002011-08-08T22:53:29.387+08:00Captain AmericaMonday, 8 August, 2011<br />
<div><br />
</div><div>My attempt at blogging for the first time after a long while. And contradictory to my headline title - NO! I am not going to blog about Captain America. WHY? </div><div><br />
</div><div><b>BECAUSE I HAVE NOT SEEN IT!!</b> </div><div><br />
</div><div>And why is that some people might ask?</div><div><br />
</div><div>Because there are some really selfish people out there who do not have even 1 single brain cell in their head! Freakin didn't want to 'yeong' seats to us because he wanted to sit with his freakin' gf! WHICH BTW, he could have easily have done if he just swapped seats with us. He'll just have to sit with his OTHER friends as well? Wadda dick!</div><div><br />
</div><div>Oh! And you know how to top that? HE didn't even GO for the movie! WTF!!!!!!!! </div><div><br />
</div><div>Sorry! Uber angers because who can resist this?!! :D</div><div><br />

<br />
Was sending my bf home to TTDI just then and there was a massive jam on the sprint highway. Bf and me already guessed that it was an accident considering it was 10.45pm at night! The accident was pretty bad, there was a motorist lying on the floor and a Golf GTI with 1 wheel short and facing pretty much the opposite direction.<br />
<br />
A few photos I managed to take from my phone. Sorry for the bluriness, car was moving and phone camera not so hot..<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhJWlU92as8I8tO63sF4hLNaCVsX5I-NyUtdR2xa2aEMe56jOu1CuzXPRfRWKdtlipe9iADIiNJHTg-kyrA2aoyVJtvv1BQaJusirFYHO_YXpffS_2hu2y9yKIoec-CUY5Ryj0CROuekqBl/s1600/IMG-20110719-00504.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhJWlU92as8I8tO63sF4hLNaCVsX5I-NyUtdR2xa2aEMe56jOu1CuzXPRfRWKdtlipe9iADIiNJHTg-kyrA2aoyVJtvv1BQaJusirFYHO_YXpffS_2hu2y9yKIoec-CUY5Ryj0CROuekqBl/s320/IMG-20110719-00504.jpg" width="240" /></a><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgBKa7MSyNcH-AMiONfp8DK1sxYdnJLwjI-IPVeWr0Iob1VzYtNUXxPGKF6RiKzFrfphoP9Ux-1a24moypbrrbq3VIrLFovjPAkSEolX-WXIzSKKE5Elv77qj2vtYXuy0ESDT3uCpnkmnJB/s1600/IMG-20110719-00506.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgBKa7MSyNcH-AMiONfp8DK1sxYdnJLwjI-IPVeWr0Iob1VzYtNUXxPGKF6RiKzFrfphoP9Ux-1a24moypbrrbq3VIrLFovjPAkSEolX-WXIzSKKE5Elv77qj2vtYXuy0ESDT3uCpnkmnJB/s320/IMG-20110719-00506.jpg" width="240" /></a></div><br />
But that's not really the point of this blog. As I was driving home from TTDI on the sprint, I could still see the jam on the opposite direction. I looked at my rear mirror and saw a car driving REALLY fast - so fast that I thought he was going to hit me because he ended up 'tiong-ing' me damn close! But once we got to where we could see the accident, he braked SOOOO fast that I thought that he could be a loved one of one of the victims of the accident and that he was going to stop by the side of the road to get to them! But NOOOOO.... he didn't stop by the side of the road. He just slowed down to see what was happening. Once we passed the scene of the accident, he just sped off again after.<br />
<br />

<br />
So, for those who don't know. I was actually MIA to HK for a coupla days at the beginning of May... Hehehe.. Took a few days off work to come for a short holiday cause bf is in between jobs. Picked HK for a coupla reasons:<br />
<br />
1) Managed to get quite cheap tickets (RM580 for return) - would have been cheaper if I bought them 2 weeks earlier cause AA was doing a promo.<br />
2) Have coupla cousins staying in HK so free accommodation! Woots! Thanks Wei ko! :D<br />
3) Bf has not been to HK before. <br />
<br />
Anyways, left last Friday afternoon. Arrived at about 9pm cause AA was slightly delayed. Cousin had arranged for a friend to come and pick us up from the train station cause he was still in KL and the friend needed to pick up some stuff from his house anyways.<br />
<br />
Just some random photos below before we got to HK.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiphdFbmAYGXT49mFZPBpECn9lup8bCT8o1xwUvA6IyYrsJowgSIN1G6FYLfL2KP2RbNxRyMpS4S6JifmVZ8eWJVf0E5TWYyRgbP5n7RiXBCymdvrP5qARazpHFjzh2qUd3BVm4ZpG6W31c/s1600/IMG_9305.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiphdFbmAYGXT49mFZPBpECn9lup8bCT8o1xwUvA6IyYrsJowgSIN1G6FYLfL2KP2RbNxRyMpS4S6JifmVZ8eWJVf0E5TWYyRgbP5n7RiXBCymdvrP5qARazpHFjzh2qUd3BVm4ZpG6W31c/s320/IMG_9305.JPG" width="240" /></a></div><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiaBwMQtmGX0u9qA8kaSRoPhHlEvtV8NgUrjkRENu9t27oL5vDnZARz_RcnDZ3WpxjmB1F-myP6O46_RKfOldUF71MqAUvG5MclvF3qKtI-GxMYghcqyw_WdbfZVqiwSWw1-rUrQAhRv5e2/s1600/IMG_9313.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiaBwMQtmGX0u9qA8kaSRoPhHlEvtV8NgUrjkRENu9t27oL5vDnZARz_RcnDZ3WpxjmB1F-myP6O46_RKfOldUF71MqAUvG5MclvF3qKtI-GxMYghcqyw_WdbfZVqiwSWw1-rUrQAhRv5e2/s320/IMG_9313.JPG" width="320" /></a></div><br />
But yea - even on our first night, we already had a slight adventure:<br />
<br />
1) The friend had brought the wrong keys with her cause we couldn't open my cousin's apartment door! We then headed back to her place (which luckily was only like 5 mins drive away) to check her place. Luckily we managed to find the correct key! Haha! Was worried we were going to homeless for 2 nights!<br />
<br />
2) Me and bf decided to go and brave HK since it was a Friday night and we hadn't really had dinner. Called my cousin and he told us that we were able to walk it to Central and would only take us 20 mins! Wah.. but that was a freakin' long 20 mins mannnn!! LOL! Probably took us more like 40 mins! Haha! We then came to a deduction that it was because HK people probably walk alot faster! Anyways, got to my cousin's suggested place at about 12.30am only to realise that they closed so we ended up in the char chan teng next door. <br />

Which was okay I guess but considering it was char chan teng stuff? Hmm.. How much do people normally pay to eat in Kim Gary's? I haven't been there in ages. But is it roughly the same price?<br />
<br />
After we ate, we didn't want to have to hike all the way back to my cousin's place, so we decided to just take a cab. Btw, felt that cabs in HK were so expensive! Once you jump into the cab, they start at $18 HKD! That's like RM7 already!Li Yen Limhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01194908571365502847noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5762902359085292591.post-34807748210376740562011-05-03T00:17:00.000+08:002011-05-03T00:17:11.376+08:00ThorTuesday, 3rd May 2011<br />
<br />
So bf managed to score some free tickets to the premier (ie. last Wednesday) for Thor from Time Out KL in Mid Valley. So we went right after work for dinner. Had a craving for Ireland Potatos and bubble tea (Cha Time had just open in Mid Valley!) for some reason - weird combo huh? But that was what we had for dinner. :P<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjkgMctO2v9SuhcOvGqBs_vBZcctIjrZolJgKvGiYh_O94eMkSIc5-f9dZoic6S1Ri8jZAAgz-Mz8fAZhNpm-L6y2pJcZXhq7MzmWm1OLguQIfr0a_8XcxIuEZIMOuKKd4VDPy6qfoXBbtf/s1600/Thor-Poster-2011-Movie-Chris-Hemsworth.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjkgMctO2v9SuhcOvGqBs_vBZcctIjrZolJgKvGiYh_O94eMkSIc5-f9dZoic6S1Ri8jZAAgz-Mz8fAZhNpm-L6y2pJcZXhq7MzmWm1OLguQIfr0a_8XcxIuEZIMOuKKd4VDPy6qfoXBbtf/s320/Thor-Poster-2011-Movie-Chris-Hemsworth.jpg" width="220" /></a></div><br />
Anyway, headed up to go and pick up our tickets and guess who saw?! Our very own Asian THOR!!! *Rawr!!* Haha! Dude was kinda err.. I dunno... weird? I know he was trying to be the cool Thor and all but not having a single expression on your face? Hmmm... <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhfhASvCckQTz96qnbjm5rrdm6aktfj1uSlQ8ojJk6b648Q3W4dtc4w_UYap8YvgbjBnalrfpnuFdOJbEXbXEWhN16saUOV58Gr_aihgD5fUOALaBDgjNIIF3_dSz-5vyx4hPpdt2bWRN14/s1600/IMG_0026.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhfhASvCckQTz96qnbjm5rrdm6aktfj1uSlQ8ojJk6b648Q3W4dtc4w_UYap8YvgbjBnalrfpnuFdOJbEXbXEWhN16saUOV58Gr_aihgD5fUOALaBDgjNIIF3_dSz-5vyx4hPpdt2bWRN14/s320/IMG_0026.JPG" width="320" /></a></div><br />
So we got into the cinema, and what we didn't know was that our tickets were for 3D Thor! I didn't know to happy or sad because to be honest, am not a fan of 3D movies. They always tend to give me a headache. My only other 3D movie would have to be Avatar I think. Watched it in Signature and for some reason that was okay. However, didn't think Thor was necessary to watch it 3D though. There were even some parts where I actually just took off my glasses to watch because the "nose piece" was actually hurting me. The only thing I was missing out on? Haha! 3D subtitles! Woots! :P<br />
<br />
What did I think of Thor? It was freakin' amazing. Not going to say anymore because people should just watch it. Chris Hemsworth though was uber hot (only his body and 6 pack). Don't really like his scruffy-ness in the show. Also, just found out that he also starred in Star Trek as George Kirk! Now HE was hot then! Haha! Anyhow, bf actually read from somewhere that Chris Hemsworth showed up on set on the 1st day of filming TOO buff. Sooo buff that they had to delay shooting for 2 weeks so that they could put him on a cut down regime AND re-size his costume so that he could fit into it again.<br />
<br />
Trailer of the movie below. To be honest, when I first saw this trailer, I was like "meh.. another fantasy story for the kids". But boy was I wrong. :P <br />

Bf made me skeptical about this movie because apparently he seen the trailer and thought that this movie would have kinda been another Adjustment Bureau. (ie. love story-ish). Although there were some elements of the movie that made me go wtf because it was just so sudden (particular when it came to Jake Gyllenhall and the chica in the movie)<br />
<br />
Anyway, starring Jake Gyllenhall and a few other characthers I don't know, (:P) This movie starts with Jake waking up in a moving train and in someone elses body (think Quantum Leap - for those who haven't seen this, go Google :P). He panics as he's unsure what or how he got there. The next thing you know, the train blows up and he ends up in a small shuttle with a lady officer trying to talk to him and get information on what he had just seen. <br />
<br />
It turns out that Jake was actually a soldier fighting in Afghanistan. The lady officer then tries to jolt his memory by doing a few memory exercises. He later finds out that he was being sent on a mission to try and find the bomber of that particular train he was in as there was another threat of a nuclear explosion. How was he going to do that?<br />
<br />
The US Govt. had created a programme called the Source Code, that allows them to send someone (in this case, was Jake) to take over someone's body in his or her last eight minutes of life. What they didn't know though was that it was actually more than that! Won't wanna spoil it for you guys but you will just have to watch the movie for yourself! Trailer for movie below!<br />

29th April 2011 - what an exciting day for everyone!<br />
<br />
First it was the Royal Wedding. I even knew people who purposely took days off just to watch the Royal wedding. I guess it is quite exciting. Just trying to imagine myself as Kate. What are the chances of you getting married into royalty!<br />
<br />
Second - iPad2 launch in Malaysia! Again, I knew of people who made their husbands go line up in front of the shop so that they could get the iPad2! I don't blame them. It's so sexayyy and nice!<br />
<br />
Last but not least?! Maroon 5 concert! Just got back from it actually. Pretty good I must say! Will blog more about it with pictures and video to show!<br />
<br />
Can you imagine if a person did all 3 of the above! It would have been a super long day for them!Li Yen Limhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01194908571365502847noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5762902359085292591.post-5544543375797279722011-04-29T09:00:00.000+08:002011-04-29T09:00:01.480+08:00Bumblebee Had His Wash - FINALLY!Friday, 29th April 2011<br />
<br />
Bumblebee finally had his wash last weekend - after probably close to 9 months going with out one! :P In that 9 months, I've had to take my doggies to and from houses, perhaps to the vet as well a coupla times. Mum also takes it to the market btw. :P Dun judge me! Imma girl! Which girl washes their own car?! Plus, have been complaining to bf that I wanted to take it for a wash for the longest time and he only took me to this place that was near his house last weekend! So not my fault! Blek! <br />
<br />
But yea, car was getting really bad. Dust was all over the place. And worse part was I had dog fur EVERYWHERE! Until the point that I was so shy to use my car for anything besides transporting me and my bf. If it's anyone else, I'll try and get them to drive instead! :P <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj5OD0iLCofmMvKm8LiVHBCrxNpidnZ3DdvMLbvRmP_FXALnlP2-B9JaHsuhkkwlfQPWntSa15btepvZa5oXD_usjFRAxJ2gWgqUd3si_An8UkbeFnr6juWpD079o7qf4_1JjG5ZZQyGRMG/s1600/IMG_0016.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj5OD0iLCofmMvKm8LiVHBCrxNpidnZ3DdvMLbvRmP_FXALnlP2-B9JaHsuhkkwlfQPWntSa15btepvZa5oXD_usjFRAxJ2gWgqUd3si_An8UkbeFnr6juWpD079o7qf4_1JjG5ZZQyGRMG/s320/IMG_0016.JPG" width="320" /></a></div><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj7XoMudg4ibvxariT490YSgelL_bLFxFHkv6cvagJoTnmoWwOgB2AUQGfnSvbvZ6eYhVEq_BiJxv58eeQeefzrAQSqMg6jGpvTTjbZ2cTeM24bjvocrUlEzVEaCG8SPQ8k6dPGM6bphUPv/s1600/IMG_0017.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj7XoMudg4ibvxariT490YSgelL_bLFxFHkv6cvagJoTnmoWwOgB2AUQGfnSvbvZ6eYhVEq_BiJxv58eeQeefzrAQSqMg6jGpvTTjbZ2cTeM24bjvocrUlEzVEaCG8SPQ8k6dPGM6bphUPv/s320/IMG_0017.JPG" width="320" /></a></div><br />
Anyway, so Bumblebee is nice and shinny now. Not bad for RM10 job which includes vacuum. Only thing I can say was that the guys probably didn't want to clean it properly because they kinda knew what fur was stuck on my matts etc. But either way, it's way cleaner now. :P Now all I need is an air refreshner to mask the smell of my doggies. Hekekeke.. :PLi Yen Limhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01194908571365502847noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5762902359085292591.post-17561754016242086012011-04-27T09:00:00.001+08:002011-04-27T09:00:01.604+08:00In Search for the Best WonTon MeeWednesday, 27th April 2011<br />
<br />
Had been craving for 2 things in the past coupla weeks - WonTon (not even the noodles :P but since it came with it.. why not) and Nuggets. <br />
<br />
Therefore, am in the search to try and find the best WonTon mee around! Have definitely already tried a coupla places but since it was not blogger about - I will start afresh! :P First stop? Damansara Kim. I did not take down the name of the coffee shop but it's the one that is further away from EuroDeli.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiVYYuE0s5-rtEN446Nr36OVWIbm7giX3t7l2c9HKuIjMrL-54DWMcqH9eoTjZk7uvWN4nf7WkLuyRCbA5NhLLTW6BtjVAd2zyH1j1eDl6zoncfXK5YvCBaqLT9QoESaDFFw8hXA_KteIax/s1600/IMG_0012.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiVYYuE0s5-rtEN446Nr36OVWIbm7giX3t7l2c9HKuIjMrL-54DWMcqH9eoTjZk7uvWN4nf7WkLuyRCbA5NhLLTW6BtjVAd2zyH1j1eDl6zoncfXK5YvCBaqLT9QoESaDFFw8hXA_KteIax/s320/IMG_0012.JPG" width="320" /></a></div><br />
Photo doesn't quite do justice for the noodles. I had already mixed it around once. Therefore, there is a few more pieces of charsiew to what you see in the photo. :P Also, forgot to take a photo of the WonTon! *face palm* (Damn fail right considering WanTon is supposedly my main focus and not the noodles?!)<br />
<br />
Anyways, noodle was only okay. The black sauce did not seem to have any taste making the noodles quite tasteless. The charsiew on the other hand was actually not bad. And the WonTon? It came in a small bowl with only 2 WonTon's. I think the lady had forgotten to mix up her pork mince because 1 of them (which was the first one I ate) had no taste at all while the other was REALLY salty. Having said that, for those who know me or have been reading my blog, I am one who fancies salty food and the 2nd WonTon had actually boosts some points for this stall. :PLi Yen Limhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01194908571365502847noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5762902359085292591.post-81689154735180023342011-04-25T09:00:00.002+08:002011-04-25T09:00:02.369+08:00Apom @ TTDI (Outside Devi's Corner)Monday, 25th April 2011<br />
<br />
Went for a drink last Friday night with some of my bf's friends in Devi's corner in TTDI. One of his friends went to apparently order Apom. I was like where in the world is he going to get Apom here? Apparently, the stall just outside of Devi's corner does! I was uber excited!<br />
<br />
Apom was my favourite snack while growing up. I remember my dad used to buy them for every weekend when we went to the market. He kinda stopped buying them for me once the prices kept going up and he suddenly came to realise that it was getting too expensive and not worth paying for something which was just made out of flour.<br />
<br />
Anyway, back to the Apom stall - I've always seen the stall there when going back to my bf's place but I never what they sold. From the looks of it (from inside the car), I always thought that they were selling Chinese newspaper or something. :P<br />
<br />
So anyway, first thing my bf's friend told me was that the guys that were manning the store were deaf - like literally. He had to point and use hand gestures to order. I didn't think much of it then.<br />
<br />
So his apom arrived and then I realised that he had CHEESE in it! I was like wtf?! what kind of Apom has cheese in it?! Apparently, this store's speciality is not just normal Apom, he makes Apom with "stuffing"! He adds cheese, egg, banana, nuttella, etc. I had never seen/tasted this kind of Apom before! And so I was even MORE excitied! See below for his menu (abit blur cause it was taken at night with my phone)!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjRX1HoUWeR3wV0TQWwh5bdOuPSHugz9IOjHD_Uy_x85aL2c9Gbz74LkMls7qypZunfuy7fp0OITRPSfMsTPnKDcr2IJ1zUDH4LbNEoumHs045niMbkOCxom7pckjLF-O4H_ELjkyXb7LJc/s1600/IMG-20110422-00381.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjRX1HoUWeR3wV0TQWwh5bdOuPSHugz9IOjHD_Uy_x85aL2c9Gbz74LkMls7qypZunfuy7fp0OITRPSfMsTPnKDcr2IJ1zUDH4LbNEoumHs045niMbkOCxom7pckjLF-O4H_ELjkyXb7LJc/s320/IMG-20110422-00381.jpg" width="240" /></a></div><br />
What's not in this menus is his specialty Apom with durian!<br />
<br />
I had a bite of my bf's friend's apom and it was pretty good! The Apom was slightly thicker than the normal ones we get from the pasar/hawker stall and yet still nice and crispy! Plus the cheese part made it even yummier since I'm a fan of cheese! Bf couldn't resist at the end and he even bought one. :D<br />
<br />
Just looking at the guys striving to make ends meat made me feel bad for them. :( Also, bf told me rumour has it that they are selling Apom to help support their home for the mute and deaf children. How true that is, I'm not sure. Tried Googling and nothing came up. But even if it's not true, I was like we should buy an Apom from them everynight just to support them. :PLi Yen Limhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01194908571365502847noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5762902359085292591.post-55328028263900385312011-04-23T11:05:00.001+08:002011-04-23T11:27:46.480+08:00Energizer Night Race 2011!Saturday, 23rd April 2011,<br />
<br />
I know this is kinda late to blog about the Energizer Night Race considering it has gotten so much grief from the media since the race. But thought I should just blog about my experiences for the night.<br />
<br />
Left the house with my sister and bro-in-law at about 6ish to Sepang and only arrive at about 7.15-7.20?? Kind our fault slightly cause I think we ended up taking the wrong turn and went through the back way which definitely took us a longer time to reach. Anyways, once we got there and parked, only did we realise we had to walk another erm.. 500m - 1km to reach the building. We needed to pee so badly so badly so we quickly used the toilet. We then continued to cross what everyone calls the "tunnel of death". Once on the other side, first thing we saw was that ALL the headlights were gone. Which was our first dissapointment (not a big one but still). Me and sister was just thinking should Energizer know how many people registered? Anyway, didn't really phase us. So we just continued.<br />
<br />
Me and bro-in-law were doing the half mara. Once we got there, we heard on the PA system that it was going to start soon ON the track itself. But there was SOOO many people and NO signage on where to go, we were kinda lost for a second. Me and bro-in-law was rushing to try and get to the start line before they started. They started counting down.. I got so desperate I ended up just jumping over the fence. :P We managed to catch our breathes for a min or 2 before the race actually started but the walk FROM the carpark to the starting line already got us sweating!<br />
<br />
Anyway, horn went off and we started. We started moving.. but VERY SLOWLY though! To the point that bro-in-law asked to confirm whether we had started. What was holding the line was because we all had timing chips, we ALL had to squeeze through a small lane to make sure we had ran over the mats! I'm sure it took us a good 3 minutes from where we were standing to actually get through the small lane.<br />
<br />
Anyway, for the 21km runners, our route was to do 1 large loop outside and then 2 loops inside the track. My outer loop was pretty good - enough water stations (which was all that mattered to me in a run). Only thing I have to complain about was that although they had water stations, they only had 2 tiny tables which resulted to everyone crowding around the tables just to get a drink! Drink stations are just meant to be on the go and shouldn't have a need for people crowding and waiting. I had to even pour my own drink. Anyways, as I was saying. Apart from the small tables, I was quite happy with the run. I was doing good time and was pretty satisfied with the number of drink stations therefore I didn't drink much thinking that I could get more in the next one.<br />
<br />
Once we got to the circuit though was a totally different story. Circuit was quite a hard route to run for me actually. Having being able to see the grand stand (which was the start of the loop) the whole time kinda played mind tricks on me thinking that it was just around the corner. Apart from that, it was quite hilly as well! Lastly, there was only 1 drink stop in the WHOLE track which was a 5km loop! Add mind games + hilly + 1 drink stop = total FAIL for me. And that was my only issue with the run. When I finished, I really felt like I couldn't breathe. Felt like I was going to pass our or vomit at the same time. Not sure if that's even possible but that's how I felt. <br />
<br />
Everyone had complained about riots during goodie bag pick up etc but I was still doing my run then, so am not sure what happened. I saw the line yes - I heard the lady over the PA system yes. But did not see anything else.<br />
<br />
Sorry - really lengthy blog without pictures huh?? Couldn't take any photos cause had left the phone in the car. Anyway, finished my run in really poor timing. Was really not happy with self. Had to walk pretty much the last loop cause I was dying. Left me with a pretty demoralising feeling right after the run and have not ran since that night.Li Yen Limhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01194908571365502847noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5762902359085292591.post-77370847774333461522011-04-12T09:00:00.006+08:002011-04-13T08:28:04.833+08:00Tow Kee @ Seremban Wet MarketTuesday, 12 April 2011, <br />
<br />
For those who remember, me and my bf made a new year resolution to try and go out station at least once month. It is now April, and we have only done it twice - once in Feb to Aus and last Sunday, to Seremban. I guess I went to Penang in March but I personally think it shouldn't count cause I didn't go with him.<br />
<br />
Anyways, why Seremban? Because there's this food court above the Seremban wet market which serves really nice awesome Hakka noodles. The first time I went there was after a hiking trip in Broga in 2009! Store is called Tow Kee and the wet market is located on Jalan Pasar. Why is it so special? My bf swears that they boil the noodles in pig lard because the "sauce" is slightly thicker than your usual. How true that is, I'm not sure. All I know is that it is super yummy. Even ta pau-ed 10 packets to bring home!! Haha! <br />
<br />
What's terrible about this place is that because it's situated above the wet market, getting to the shop is seriously a struggle! The place REALLY stinks and I mean really!! I seriously felt like puking when I got there. The bottom floor smells fishy and when you go upstairs, next to toilets - OMG *puke*. Smelt like the toilet hadn't been washed in years! Doesn't help much that there is a HUGE drain like just outside the market. <br />
<br />
Moving along - I forgot to bring my camera again (sucky blogger huh?), so all credits to photos below goes to Google Images ya!<br />

<br />
I know this is late - blogging about last Sunday but better late than never? Hehe! Anyways, made my bf take me to Pavilion last weekend cause I was kinda sick of the malls around my area. Found this shoe in a super hero shop which sells RM100++ t-shirts even for kids! Anyways, check out how big the shoe is compared to my feet!<br />

</div><div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;">Anyways, once we got down town, what we didnt' know was Red Bull was actually doing an event. They had stands up and they even blocked the whole Bukit Bingtang road. We were lucky that we got there early so we managed to get to the parking. They even brought an actual F1 car to take a drive down the road. It was really hot that day, so we didn't stay to watch that but even when in Pavi, we could hear the sound of the cars. Managed to get some photos below:</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />

</div>Our food. We ordered the mac and cheese and also the cheeseburger. Burger was yummy with a nice onion sauce on the the top. For those who have tried the burger in Plan B, me and bf felt that this place was much better. Mac & cheese was good too. But to be honest, I have never had it before in my life. So according to bf (who used to stay in the US and where Mac & Cheese is quite normal), it was quite good. Although, thought it was quite jelak towards the end - it was baked with 3 types of cheese!<br />

<br />
FML! What did I get myself into! Me and sister have been talking about doing the full marathon for some time now but we haven't really done much to train for it. To be honest, I'm getting a bit too tired to wake up in the mornings now to run. Haha! don't know if this comes with age? :P Anyways, sister got jolted to sign up for the full marathon 1 day because she found out one of her friends who only started running last year signed up for the full too! Immediately, she signed up for herself and me! <br />
<br />
For those who don't know, a full marathon is 42kms long! 42 freakin' kms! That's like running all the way to erm erm.. subang and back from my place! <br />
<br />
Anyway, went for our usual weekend run yesterday and boy was that run bad! I felt like I was going out of breathe, my thighs started to hurt! Unsure if this was because I'm kinda still SLIGHTLY sick and body is not working at 100% to take oxygen in.. OR the fact that I haven't been training much during the weekdays anyway and it's ruining my weekend runs. Eitherway, the pressure is on, there's only 13 weeks till the full marathon. Have a half marathon in 2 weeks which I don't even know if I can do it now... :S Sis is still pumped like madd and already researching and coming up with timelines for our training!!<br />
<br />
I guess worse comes to worse, i'll just walk the whole way?! I have walked 30kms before?! haha.. what's another 12 rite? RITE? :PLi Yen Limhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01194908571365502847noreply@blogger.com0
